A MADAME DE LONGUEVAL.

[? 1552.]

DIANNE.

Helene, my good friend,

I write you this word to tell you that Lefevre
can safely continue the building he has undertaken
in the ville of Francoise [Le Havre], it being the King's
intention to extend for three years next ensuing
the excemption from taxes and aids for all those who
wish to build there, provided that the value of the
buildings be not too small. So tell him this and
if he needs more money I
shall gladly give it to him for your sake.

Your most affectionate friend,
Diane
